About Martha Gayle
I spent many years in the corporate world, striving for perfection and wealth while desiring to follow Jesus. I was later called to become a stay-at-home wife and homeschool mom. This decision was difficult, but I chose God’s will for my life by walking in complete Faith, Trust, Grace, and the Strength of Jesus. This was a profound time in my life. Once my daughter left home to attend college, God provided me with another career to enjoy. After much time studying and obtaining the necessary licenses, I became the owner of an insurance agency. After years of enjoying my career, God called me to sell my business to write When Jesus Calls. I have always had a passion for writing, and God encouraged me to pursue my dream while giving me the testimony to share for His glory! He does give us the desires of our hearts.
I am humbled and honored to announce that When Jesus Calls received a gold five-star award from the Literary Global Book Awards, making me an award-winning author.
Since When Jesus Calls was published, I have been writing the sequel, When Jesus Leads. I am excited to announce that it is complete and is available! Both books are based on true-life events.
I pray that God uses my writings to inspire, provide hope in a broken world, and change hearts for His glory, transforming lives and renewing faith.
Martha lives in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee with her husband and two dogs.

I have been waiting for this book as I read and LOVED When Jesus Calls! Wow! I love all of the characters, especially Mary and felt like I was her friend! Elizabeth is so precious! Mary’s Faith in Jesus Christ is so powerful and although she had fear at times, she always found her peace and strength in Jesus! The Bible scriptures were so on point. This is a beautiful story of faith, family, romance, love and courage. I can’t wait for the next book!
