Now, When Jesus Leads is available. I could not have imagined that I would have two published novels and be writing a third one. A sequel? As I reflect, I sometimes have to pinch myself because I can't even believe it. He has carried me through this journey, and I am grateful! There have been times when I have felt way out of my comfort zone. The best example is being thrown out of the boat, which I often use. But then there have been times when I felt like I had done this my entire life. I have come to realize that when I felt anxious or afraid, I was trying to do it on my own. No, I never left Jesus by His grace and mercy, but isn't it strange that we know in our spirits the second we have taken our eyes off Him? Last night, we had a great dinner with dear friends celebrating our wedding anniversary’s together. They are truly a gift from God. Our friends anniversary is today, July 18th and ours is the 19th. After arriving back home, while my husband and I were sitting in our sunroom talking, in just a second out of no where it was almost as if someone flipped a switch. The lights went out. No sounds, just complete darkness. There was no panic, no negative feelings, or real concerns. We both just got up, gathered our lanterns to bring light back into the house. Two of our lanterns were not coming on. The batteries were dead. While my husband opened them up, I was bringing the batteries into the living room for him to replace them.
